  • What Documents will I have to submit?
UR Sales Employment Agency will require the following documents from you in order to proceed with the securing of your maid.
1. Identification Card copies of all the members living in the house of the FDW's occupation (NRIC / FIN No.)
2. Employer Income Tax NOA for last year and present year / Salary voucher of the employer and spouse's monthly income if joint       income
3. Phone numbers of the employer and spouse
4. Occupation details : Company and Designation.
Additional documents may be requested in certain cases.

  • How long does the process generally take?
Once the prospective employer has selected a maid, the maid can be delivered to the employer within a span of one week depending on the profile selected. We understand your urgent requirements and hope to fulfil your expectations to the fullest. 

  • What is EOP?
​EOP (Employer Orientation Programme) is a course that is required to be completed before an employer can hire a maid in Singapore. More details can be found here.

  • What is a Security Bond?
MOM requires all employers of Foreign Domestic Workers to assume responsibility for the repatriation of the maid once the usual contract of 2 years expires unless it is renewed. You are required to post a security deposit (bond) of $5,000 for every maid with the Work Permit Department, MOM. UR Sales will assist the employer in purchasing an insurance coverage of said amount with an insurance agency. 

  • What are the Necessities an FDW must undergo before employment in Singapore?
Before an FDW starts work, she is required to undergo a full Medical Examination and must attend a Settling in Programme before they can work in Singapore, as stated by MOM. UR Sales offers to assist the Employer in this regard and will complete these before delivering the FDW to you. 

  • What about maid interview?
UR Sales offers the option to interview the selected maid via means of telephone or webcam if the maid is able to access one. 

  • What is a 'transfer maid'?
Transfer maids refer to those maids that are currently available locally in Singapore (i.e. They do not need to be brought down from their home country). Transfer maids are currently in employment in Singapore and are seeking a change in employment for reasons such as Expiry of 2 year contract with previous employer. These maids are generally experienced and require little to no training to grasp life in Singapore.
